Anyone with a deployment clasp on 5196?
I ordered one and will post photos as soon as I replace it. One of the reasons for doing this has to do with feeling safer and when placing watch on my wrist. I have been clumsy in the past and dropped a watch while working the buckle! The other reason is it looks so much better, in my opinion.

Yes I bought with the watch originally. Makes it very easy to put on.

May i know how much does the deployant clasp costs approximately?
It looks really cool on a simple 5196. The class is elevated immediately! |

Thank you! I believe it was around $2800 pink gold. Color doesn't show in my photos. This included matte black strap. I feel much safer with the deployment when putting the watch on my wrist.

When I asked in Madrid for yellow gold it was 3,300$ the clasp plus around 600$ the strap (21% VAT included) |

The folding clasp looks great but I do not if its worth the cost with the strap too. A plus is the strap will last much longer on the folding clasp as not as much bending. Bottom line if you can handle the cost, go for it.

Thanks all for sharing. Does anyone know if the clasp (pictured here ) is in opposite direction? I have looked at those Patek folding clasps and have seen photos going both ways. So I am confused.

Rough difference: SS - $500 v WG - $2,753. Just make sure you get the right size deployant-specific strap with the correct lug and deployant end sizes.
