Took me a full 10 sec to see any difference. As such I’d go fluted rather than spending the extra money.

Ditto, and I’m a Mom, too. I much prefer the fluted. It goes better with my lifestyle. But , you do you…..

My wife has a TT Datejust with Mother of Pearl dial with diamond hour markers and diamond bezel and she loves it but she also has a SS DJ with fluted bezel and diamond hour markers. She uses the Stainless daily and wears the bling when we go out. Depends on what you prefer and if you are ok wearing bling all the time. If not go fluted if so then diamond bezel.

if you're planning on wearing it everyday, then fluted. If this isnt your everyday piece then diamonds.

Good choice. It’s actually a nicer looking piece, IMO.

Fluted bezel looks sharper I think. Rolex does a nice job with the fluted bezel, catches the light very nice. Diamonds around the bezel might come across as fake imho, whereas diamonds on the hour markers isn't overdone and contrasts with the fluted edges. Cheers!
