Looking for a good travel watch case for my new sd43,I've seen loads but can't find any that fit properly, I've look at several rolls, recently a smith and rowe case, but when I shut the case the lids squeezes against the face so no real protection there..please help

Bosphorus and Wolf make nice single rolls. Also consider the Rolex service pouch, Oakley watch vault or hard cases like eleven11 prints.

I use WATCHPOD which can easily be bought from Amazon. Essentially it is like an Oakley case but with extra cushion. Fits and protects my SD43 perfectly.

I use a Tudor watch case. The smallest watch case I have seen. Not of the SD but would fit an SD. I also have a wolf single roll. More robust.

I use a Rolex leather travel pouch, but let me offer a little advice, if I may: A good friend of mine recently got an expensive new watch, and had gotten in the habit of taking it off while out and about, and putting it in a single watch case; afraid to scratch his new watch. Eventually the watch AND the case was either misplaced or stolen. He doesn't need to worry about scratches anymore. Moral of the story; the safest place for your watch is on your wrist. Don't let a little worry about wear and tear take away your enjoyment. Congrats on the new Seadweller!

^ Indeed! This reminds me of some news I read recently. They caught employees of my local airport steeling belongings from travellers' suitcases. Clothes, food, jewelery and of course watches. Suitcases are not a safe place to keep luxury goods. Beware. |
