New Release ROO
Just noticed this on AP’s site. Brown tones seem to be trending.

Nice. That price is ridiculous though.

Feel like this is the Safari edition 3.0 sans the hornback strap. Don't hate it, question is, this or the taupe for the best 43mm st??

Although I haven’t seen this new brown in the metal, the taupe is still the winner to my minds eye.

I agree. More money than the 26240st with no bracelet finishing involved.

Yeah, my thoughts as well. Pricing disparity doesn’t make sense. I wonder how the Delta between Royal oaks and offshores has changed over the past decade. This is pretty steep

Is that the Havana with the blue subtitles? I love that watch. I liked the offshores better when they had the subtitles at 6, 9and 12 o’clock.

ROOs are simply at overpriced territory, and this is coming from a big fan of the ROO.
This brown one looks promising, wouldn’t have minded it with a black ceramic bezel though. |

Hasn't that been the going rate, give or take a couple of $k, for the 43mm ROO since they came out? Not saying it isn't insane, just curious why everybody is up in arms now.
Can't say that this is my new favorite - generally not a fan of leather straps, and probably like the taupe dial more than brown.

Same price as all the other current ROOs...
Is it 25% over what it should be? Yes. Is it any different than all other models? No |

Happy to see steel bezel coming back. Ceramic bezel is overplayed for a decade now. Case matched bezel has a more cohesive/premium look and feel, to me.

A good looking watch. The price is what it is.

I can see this thought for a more formal watch…but I prefer the toughness of a ceramic bezel on the ROO personally. Luckily they offer both ;-)

Lovely new ROO but reinforces the 43mm Smoked Taupe as the optimum choice……and yes I’m biased

I had one ROO with steel bezel and never again! Only watch I ever owned that got badly scratched up. It’s very sensitive to scratches and stands well off the wrist, not a good combo. |
