Full PM RO - Which size
Hey fellas, I’m kicking around going after a full rose RO and am curious which size you think is most appropriate for my 6.8” flat wrist. My current rotation includes a 41mm 15510st and a 39mm 26120or on strap. Both sizes seem to work for me with the 41 a tad on the larger side. I’m debating either adding the bracelet to the 26120or or sourcing a full rose 15510. Given that the 41 wears a bit big on me I’m a little timid that a full gold 15510 would simply be too much and out of place on my wrist. Let me know your thoughts.

That 39mm is absolute perfection.
The 41 looks good on you, but as you note the size is on the larger side. But again, the 39mm in that cool piece you have is next level, in my view. |

From a distance (the mirror shots) they actually like quite similar in size. I don't think either way is a bad choice, but I would go with 39 by default. I also agree with Armis that the 39mm piece you have is pretty awesome.

I think 41mm looks great on you, as does the 39mm. It's all up to your preference really! I'd recommend you trying them on if possible.
Would a gold jumbo be out of the question? |

Thanks Armis! That’s indeed probably the way I’m leaning. It’s a great size for 7”ish wrist. I’ve always enjoyed some of the quirky movements & dials they put in the 39 case back in the early 2010’s. Even if they weren’t in house movements. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the feedback! The cases do actually wear fairly similar. I think what makes the 41 appear larger is the dial size. It’s probably 3-4mm larger than the 39 dual time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great point. I’m an 8-10 hr drive from a boutique so only really get to hit them up when I’m traveling. A trip to nyc would be ideal to hit 47th street and the AP house and try everything on. The jumbo is on my radar and an aspiration for sure but a pretty big jump. Prices in the 15202or do seem to be cooling however, but that 16202or and fume dial is the cat’s pajamas! I’d for sure go full 41. I have it on leather and would love to upgrade to a full bracelet. Have thought about just adding the bracelet but it’s so much money.
One day I’ll get it done one way or the other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Full gold RO needs the right attitude - not for the faint of heart. Size-wise, both work fine for you.

Do you know how much AP charges for the bracelet?

Go with 41, looks good on you!
and the side shot from the mirror is the correct way to gauge if a watch is a good size or too big. These closeup wrist shots are terrible reference for size and fit. |

Id go 41
I think on a bracelet the watch wears smaller than on a rubber strap as it just blends together better.

opposite is actually true. Bracelet is rigid at the lugs so it extends out about 2mm more than the rubber strap. Everything looks smaller with a rubber LOL!

I also think it will look larger on the bracelet. But I maintain I’d go 41 no question.
I am in a similar situation, really want a full rose bracelet but would probably need to trade both of these in for it and I think I’d rather have the pair- but am still on the fence. I also have 16202 and a couple offshores so even if I traded both I’d still have a ss bracelet ro and a couple strap options with the roos.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I am going against the grain, the 39mm 16202 in rose gold is one of the most stunning pieces I have ever seen in my life.
If not that, you should really look at the 26715 in rose gold. It should fit like a glove. I do like the 15510 in rose gold, but it is too repetitive with your steel model. If you get the chrono 26715 or even 26240 it will spice things up. The 16202 I suggested earlier just oozes class and elegance if you wear your watches more formal. |

for a full gold sports watch, smallest size your wrists can handle is best imo. classy, sporty, and [arguably] elegant. looks like I have about the same wrist size as you. I would recommend that you even try out a 37 to see how it looks in gold

My vote is 41mm. Looks great on the mirror shot looks well sized. I have the 39mm yellow gold QP and it wears amazing but I like the 41mm better to be fair for the summer I’m rocking the rubber strap on the 41 it pops nicely

to each his own but that's a terrible suggestion IMO. I have the same wrist size as OP and my wife's 37 RO looks tiny.

41mm in my opinion. Fits well on you and a RG in 41mm has an amazing wrist presence.

Totally agree here. Two 3 hand RO’s wouldn’t be very diverse. Also agree on the 16202or. It’s top 5 grails for me. The slate fume dial works so well with rose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

FYI I personally find the rose gold 15510 wears bigger than the steel,
I think it’s due to the weight it doesn’t tend to sit quite so compactly on the wrist, moving around a bit more. Additionally it is a stunning watch, and the wow factor of its looks I think makes it stand out more too. |

For the rose RO, I'd go with the 39mm for your 6.8" flat wrist. Since the 41mm already feels a bit large, the 39mm would be a better fit, especially in full gold. Adding the bracelet to your 26120or sounds like a great idea too!

That looks great on white rubber. Does AP offer a conversion kit yet for the 15510?
