Overseas 4500 Blue vs Streamliner
Just had the opportunity to see both and I was blown away.
The bracelet of the Streamliner Smoked Salmon center seconds is incredible. The way it conforms to the wrist. The way it catches the light. The fume dial on the salmon is also very elegant. Moser also seems like it’s gaining serious traction. Just wish it was a bit slimmer On the Overseas, the blue dial is something else (and I think the pre 2021s might even be better either more lacquer than sunburst). The interchangeable strap system is also very nice. But while the finishing of the bracelet is top tier, it perhaps is a bit too subtle. I feel like an integrated SS watch needs to have some shine on a wrist roll. Modern vs traditional. The rebel vs the establishment. What would you pick? I feel like I’m supposed to like the VC. But my heart still wants the Streamliner. |

As an owner of a 4500V in RG, it’s a great watch. The finishing and quality are there. The versatility with strap system is unbeatable. I am not a Moser guy so can’t speak to them but I am sure others here can.

Both are fantastic. I own both a Streamliner chrono and a SS 4500 (2021). Different watches. The real question is whether you want the date or not? If it makes no difference, then it's purely down to personal esthetics. Both are probably equal in terms of horology and class - despite the VC having the "Holy trinity" label. I think that counts for little in this day of ALS, HMC, FPJ, DeB , GBF, LRF, MBF and many more top class brands.
I actually think the Moser flies under the radar and says more about you as a person rather than the "look at me" the 4500 tends to provoke. |

Like them both, but if had to pick only one the VC. More versatile with the 3 straps as well. Curious of the Overseas owners out there how many use all 3 straps.

VC for strap versatility and on the fly adjustable bracelet. Streamliner if you want to stay under the radar, my only grip with the streamliner when I tried it was the case felt a bit on the tubby side.

Try them on. The 4500 wears big, much bigger than the Streamliner. Even the Streamliner Chronograph wears smaller than the Overseas time only.

I'd go Streamliner. Tried on the 4500 blue when it was launched and didn't like it for a multitude of reasons including bling and size.

Adds a bunch of cost, but how about the Streamliner small seconds with blue enamel dial. A bit smaller, amazing dial, micro rotor.

My vote is the VC based on the versatility and preferred look. Long warranty also helps.

I just took delivery of the new green streamliner and could not be happier. To me, it is a perfect watch. Like others have said however, going VC is never a bad thing.

For most folks, the VC. It is a great watch. I think the strap change is a gimmick as I cannot figure out why anyone would want to take it off of the bracelet. However, the watch is just too big for me. I owned it and I had to sell it because it overhung my wrist.
I have the streamliner and I enjoy it. It is particularly appropriate for those with smaller wrists, or those with a penchant for the avant garde. I have owned mine for three years or so and I continue to find it enchanting. |

Overseas 4500 Blue vs Streamliner

I think the watch is much better suited on the bracelet. I just dont find it as appealing. That is all. Perhaps a poor choice of wording. |

Tough one.
I have a VC dual time and chronograph and I’ve just picked a streamliner perpetual calendar. Moser has impressed me so much but deep down I am a VC diehard. In a small collection I would choose VC for the versatility of the strap system. It not just marketing, but you really do get 3 watches in one. But a good diverse watch collection should have a streamliner. They are amazing. I know, I’m not much help. Get both, there you go, problem solved! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Rubber and bracelet all the time. I do find that the gator is pretty stiff new so I have tried to break it in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Streamliner all day of the week for me. Bracelet far superior to VC and you never know a rubber strap might be out in the not too distant future

Can you objectively outline how the Streamliner bracelet is far superior? I can't think of one aspect of the streamliner bracelet that is superior (finishing, adjustability, taper, comfort...?).

aspects behind finishing, chamfering etc. But when I put the Streamliner on and did a wrist roll, it appeared like Liquid Metal…the light fluidly danced on the bracelet. It’s like the AP disco ball effect but more elegant. The VC wrist roll left me cold. It appeared similar to a Rolex submariner oyster bracelet. No light play on the bracelet…just on the dial and polished bezel and sides. The Streamliner appeared like a modern, expensive object on the wrist (almost as if you had asked Apple to design a $30,000 mechanical watch) |
