Went to visit an AD out of town

Spoke to the guy at an AD in FTW and he told me that they haven’t had a sub date all year and an LV since 2017. Crazy that in a town that big they have nothing. They did have 2 day dates for sale all in PM. Waste of time lol

I don’t think that he was exactly truthful. What he left out was “for you.” We don’t have any watches for you. No Sub date in 7 months? I guess it’s possible. Maybe his manager is keeping the watches from this guy and he actually believes this stuff.

100% BS

My AD has not seen a BLRO in over a year and they can’t comprehend why but they have gotten everything else and then some.

There are different tiers of ADs in the US but they are ALL receiving watches. Total BS.

Where was that list going to fantasy island? I agree with others , Although the AD does not get to pick what he receives, Rolex sends a few different models a few Sports models and some TT and PM and ladies models .

Keep trying and don’t loose faith it can happen.

Just another AD story. I’ve heard some good ones lately. No more waitlist, etc…….

That's exactly what they want. They don't want to waste time taking your name and wants. Just let everyone know that they get nothing, have nothing, and you (the customer just walking in) will NEVER get anything.

Then they can go back to the breakroom and finish their coffee, waiting for the elite, favored customers to come in and break champagne and laugh at you trying to get something when the box of Rolex's comes in that week.

If you’re looking for a Sub date, why not buy from a trusted seller here? The price delta isn’t significantly more than retail

An insincere way of telling you they don't want your business, as I'm sure you're already deduced. At least you know where not to go.

Like the AD that told me each Rolex takes 12-18 months to build...... I actually laughed, and she looked so offended. I think she may have actually believed it herself?

Granted- from raw material (i.e iron ore or gold ingots) to finished product may be that long, but she definitely meant like 12 months for the Rolex/Keebler elves to make a single watch.

They get at least one sub date each month. People need to realize ADs will not carry the brand if they never get any shipments of desired watches. Who needs those hassles without any revenue from sales.

I live in San Antonio and my Ad says they receive Sub's pretty often, that's why I only had to wait 3 months for mine.
