For me the 60 minutes are much more useful vs the 30 simply because my frame of reference for timekeeping can easily be in doubt of ~15 minutes or ~45 minutes has passed.

The 60 minute counter takes away my doubt and common loss of time.

This could just be the result of using the 60 minute timing bezel of a sub for 20 years of timing things.

I agree. A longer chronograph is a generally more useful one.

Not saying more is *always* better, but the 5960 has a 12 hour chrono. The replacement 5905 has only an hour chrono.
