That’s a nice looking DJ. A quick search shows $8-8.5k for the tuxedo dial. I’d offer low $8’s. 36mm DJ is perfect fit for most wrists.

I did find one for 6500 but after market crystal and enough links for 7” wrist so missing a few links. No box no papers.

Something else to factor in, is if you really want that particular dial, it is still available from Rolex. So, if you found a bargain 116234 with the wrong dial that needed servicing you could get an RSC service with new dial and hands for about $1400. Never buy one with a bad fluted bezel on though as a replacement one at service is about $1800!
Has the one you’ve been looking at had a recent service out of interest? |

That is pricey but I love the dial and is unique from what I've seen. Congrats!

I did see the same Watch with the oyster band for 7300…
Some scratches on the clasp nothing a good buff could take out.. I do prefer the jubilee tho |

I like it, but agree it’s overpriced. I’d rather spend more for a brand new TT Wimbledon 36, which I did….

Enjoy! I guess I could buy a good DJ with jubilee band then replace the face at a reliable Rolex repair/service.... I wonder what that would cost..... |

If excellent condition is accurate, and it is hard to find, and you like it… I would be comfortable paying a premium. Cannot go strictly off what others have sold for IF this one is a nicer example than typical. I’d rather pay a bit more for a nicer example. I also doubt find anything near an excellent condition at or below $7k…

like one of the ops said maybe I can find the same reference and swap the face and date wheel out. But even at 6k for that watch..Rolex will want $1500 to change that out and now Im at 7500ish I guess thats still cheaper... |

That’s really nice, I might be getting my hands on a White Roman Numeral Dialled one that needs service, new Crystal, new dial and hands at a very good price. I am really tempted to get them to put in the Blue Roman Numeral Dial like yours instead of the white.
