TT Yacht-Master review

Hi guys,

I've had this baby now for exactly 15 days and here are my observations on different aspects of this watch.

Accuracy: On the wrist: dead on....ZERO deviation.
Crown up: +0.5 sec./12 hrs.
Crown down: -0.5 sec./12 hrs.

Bracelet: Oysterlock bracelet (Part No.78763) comes with a total of 12½ links - 8 links on the '12' side and 4½ links on the '6' side. Clasp has 6 holes on the sides for fine adjustments. No extension links....however, a secure clasp is there and the coronet logo is placed on the secure clasp instead of the clasp as can be seen in most Rollies.

The watch: Ref. 16623 (TT version). Case: 40 mm diameter, dial 30 mm, weight: 146 grams (with all original links). Maxi dial with 18 K YG hands and marker surrounds.

Lugs are specially rounded at the bottom end and don't end in sharp points as you see in the other sports Rollies. Even the crown guards are shorter and different from that of the Subs and SD.

All in all, a very attractive watch which can be worn with jeans, casuals or even a tux. The watch is quite slim and slips in comfortably under a long sleeved cuff....the watch is only 12 mm thick.

Some pics....

I like the placement of the coronet logo on the secure clasp. That's a nice touch.

Nice. The TT with blue face is my favorite look on the Yacht-Master.

Enjoy.

JJ's watch is for sale Jeff. Maybe you can try his fake out to decide if you really like it or not.

Just saw the date on the posts just prior to mine. Only 17 months old. Whoops.

No, but we will beat up on you for bringing back one of JJ's old threads. We try to let them die a natural death. After a while (usually about 2 days) they start to stink, so we like to leave them buried.

You're right. Sometimes we try to ignore them altogether just to get rid of them quick

Hey! I didn't bring it back. I just responded to the guy that brought it back.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I'll start hanging the garlic.
