Yeah I'm not big on the Cellini line, but I thought it would make a good discussion since we're all into the sports line so heavily. I wouldn't buy a Cellini cuz for the money there are so many other, IMHO, better dress watches to buy. Like JLC or GO for example.

Any space beside you at that window?

Agreed, my friend. The watch world is HUGE and Rolex is really just the starting point. The cool thing is, there's something for everyone at every price point!

I do like the look of that one Steve, although I wouldn't be buying any of them.

I gotta say I agree with atomic yet again,

I seriously gave the Cellini line some consideration as I wanted to give my dealer a little more business other than my Sub in the chance my Daytona chances would get better but after considering it carefully I decided that there are just so many companies that do dress watches better than Rolex for the same or considerably less money that it wasn't worth it....

The Cellini I was considering was either the Rose and White gold Danaos or more likely the Silver Slate dial Roman "Classic"...but the best I figure my dealer would do is 20% off which would put it considerably more than either a JLC master Ultra thin, JLC Master Grande Taille, Zenith, Omega Deville Co axial and many other pieces...I might even rate the Nomos models above the Cellini with the exception that Cellini uses gold wheras the Nomos I have seen are mainly stainless.

The one thing I did like about the Cellini classic were the lugs though..

I've always saud they should bring back the Prince line but I'm not a fan of the new ones. Give me an original Prince any day.

Yes must agree with Adrian give me a 1930s Prince anyday even if it did not
have a Rolex movement.

1930s Rolex Prince doctors style watch.Aegler movement.
myself prefer a S.steel version, and my personal dream watch.

Modern 2005 Rolex Prince doctors style, myself prefer the 1930s model

1930s Gruen doctors watch, used the same movement as the Rolex Prince
