Okay Ed and Anyone Else, Let Me Have It!!
I am of the mindset that I want what makes me happy and I know I will wear. Much like our bald Kiwi, my tastes tend to change often. I have decided that the best number of watches for me is three, that way they all get playing time. But I never have had any regrets and I will not start now. I like my watches but none of them are not replaceable. So I decided that it was time to make another change. I have the Pam bug bad so I decided to scratch that baby!!
Well it has been a month since I traded a Rolex SD for my beloved 27C. In that month I have bought about 8 or 9 straps, and worn the Pam almost all the time. I also have a YM and I love that watch, it is much like a Pam, bling without too much bling. I also had a vintage GMT Master, until last week. :-) I traded it for the newest member of my watch family. Here is the new addition. 112f that is just too damn sweet!! It is my first manual wind watch and it is also the first I have ever had with an exibihtion back, both are very cool.

Did you think we were going to flame you, Daren?
Not a chance. The PAMs are nice watches and if you like them, hey, wear them. As for manual winds, though, I have gotten so used to autos that I know I would forget to wind a manual. And then when it stopped, I would go nuts having to reset it and wind it. But I'll be interested to hear how you like the manual wind after a few weeks. Keep us posted.

Congrats Daren - I'm personally not a big fan of the brand, but it's always nice to get something you really wanted. Can you tell me what the finish is like on the movement - hard to tell with all the writing on it.

I am no expert at all Al, but it seems to be finished very nicely. I really like to look at the movement, even if I am not sure what is going on. I am amazed at the amount of parts in these things and how accurate the can be.
