Rolex Forum Enthusiasts Meetup
Curious, has anyone here ever tried to organize a trip or annual Meetup for folks here at the Forums to come out and hang out/network? Might be a cool thing to do instead of just networking in small factions at IWJG shows etc.

There are some iconic GTG's - the Vegas one is coming up.
Some in your neck of the woods too. Most are city-based or Regional. Best to go through the listings Jason provided in the link.

It's funny that you mention this now, as we're having a Philly-area meetup tomorrow night in King of Prussia. The forum has already been linked, but check out the details here:

Now moved into the correct, and more appropriate, 'The Meeting point' Sub-forum...
Just the place for organizing such things.

As a relatively new active member in regards to the Vegas GTG I have lots of questions. Details wise, what I see is a City and a Date and that's it. Where is it? Why is there a limit to the participants? What to expect? Is there an agenda? Maybe all that info is peppered in the various posts but I haven't found that after glancing at it.

Keith
That is by design. If you're interested in any of the GTG's you see, just PM the organizer. Layer 1 Security = Obscurity Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Keith...maybe I can help ya out.
The Vegas GTG (WISCON) is held every year here in Las Vegas. Attendees were limited to how many people the restaurant can accomadate for the dinner event. The location is not revealed ahead of time as it is PMd to attendees for security reasons. We also visit various retail watch shops and authorized dealers that invite us for private viewings, cocktails etc. The event lasts the weekend, but some arrive early, and some go home late. We also hit various restaurants, cigar bars etc as well. There is no official WISCON hotel, as attendees can choose which hotel they'd prefer to stay at. I hope this may answer a few of your questions...

It does, thanks. Makes sense. I was especially curious because I'll be in Vegas around that time for the NAB conference.
