Rolex Date-Month????

Just a curious question to ask those that know about how movements work.....

Could the Day wheel of a Day-Date be modified by Rolex to show the Month and move much slower so the timing is right? Producing a new model, the Date-Month.

Just a thought.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Well, there is talk on a calendar function for the DD. It would look a little like the sky dweller where a red mark would be behind the hour markers and that would indicated the month. While still keeping the day and date function on the watch.

Better off getting a Sky-Dweller as it's very hard to determine whether a month has 28, 29, 30, or 31 days without more complications other than changing the ratio of a gear.

My biggest wish was that they replace the 24 hour dial on the SkyDweller with a day of the week. Oh well.......

Absolutely. You can add gmt too. Just bring it to the rolex ad and ask them to trade it for a sky dweller.
