SS Daytona
I have been a long time looker on this forum. I have been in the market for a SS Daytona on and off for about 3 years. Does anyone in the Washington DC area know of a AD that has one in stock that will sell for MSRP. All the ADs I visit act like the SS Daytona will cure cancer and of course they just sold it 1 week ago for 2-3K over MSRP. Thank you for any help.

Don't pay over MSRP now. 6 months ago it was going for higher prices but not now.

I too live in the DC area and agree w/ your summation of the AD's. Am on the list at 2 AD's but no luck finding one in stock. Good luck in your pursuit.

Same situation here- I've also been lurking for a while and looking for a stainless daytona in NC. It seems like people have been posting all the time saying that they're getting calls from their ADs with new daytonas. How long do most of you have to wait on the lists? Thanks

I've been told by several ADs in the DC area that if you get on "the list", folks who do more business with the AD will get preference when the watches do come in.

Sad reality is the opportunity to buy an SS Daytona at retail from an AD is a reward for past business. That's how I got mine.

My AD isn't selling them anywhere near MSRP. And like said before, you have to have been a good client there for a while to be able to get one.

There is a used one on another forum for £5700, only £300 over current list, and it is only 4mths old.....Sign of the times IMO.
