Daytona spotted at Sapporo

And for the bad news, is not retail

Anyway, anyone who’ve been to Japan might be familiar with the megastore Don Quijote. They basically sell anything from cosmetic to electronic. And normally on the top floor they have some luxury items and one of them is Rolex, one of the area that I normally checked if I'm there.

Last night visited the Sapporo branch in Tanukikoji, Sapporo area. Spotted the black 116500 and the retail price shocked me. It's amazing that even the black dial now reach the white dial price point. Those guys who predicted last year that it would died down I guess quite wrong lol

A quick shot of my white dial as well

Looks like prices are falling.

I was in Japan in August and the prices were higher.

Not a rare sighting in this case. Plenty of Daytonas in Hong Kong going for very handsome premiums

Black and white!!!
Why have just one when you can have both.
If those prices are "market value" then wow

That Daytona is priced lower than a UK gray would charge

I always get a laugh out of those price tags because here they look like the "liquidation sale everything must go!!!" signs.
