Quick Help Needed Before Picking Up Tomorrow..
Hi All,
I am scheduled to pick up my BB58 tomorrow from a trustworthy grey dealer and I have 2 quick questions: 1 - he said the AD kept the hang tag. Is this common? I am unsure why, but he said the AD wanted to ensure this is going to the final owner. My name is on the warranty card btw, but this still doesn’t make sense to me. 2 - is there somewhere I can look up Tudors serial numbers? Mine starts with “I7” and I am just being anal to double check it’s legit. Please help me out! Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is it that tough to source from AD? Or are you getting a real good deal?

I have always received my hang tags. That being said I wouldn't worry to much about it being legit or not. It's a brand new release so hasn't been around long enough to be replicated. If the serial number on the warranty matches your watch then I would say good to go.

perhaps it depends on the relationship you have with the AD. ? the serial on the back of the hang tag matches the warranty card. there is also a barcode and model number on the back of the hang tag. it will tell you what the watch was originally sold with, bracelet, leather or nato. the serial number is behind the top right lug. mine starts with 17XXXXX if you are worried and perhaps it is to stop greys, you should still be able to sight the tag to check how the watch was originally supplied. the warranty has the model, but not how it was originally supplied. if the AD does not want to show you the tag perhaps something like the bracelet may have been swapped to a nato if damaged for example. Tudor will have a record still matching back to the serial. hope the above helps. edit, my apologies, i skipped the part where you said grey. FWIW i have no problems with grey. so the grey purchased the watch in your name.? no problem if you choose to not disclose this information. i hope the above has still helped settling your nerves. Not sure how many tags tudors come with but I know it’s pretty common for AD’s to keep the now white serial tag on Rolex but should include the green authenticity tag. Maybe if you make a big enough fuss they may still give you, worth a shot. But if it’s the authenticity tag they’re trying to keep that’s not right and should be given to you.

The hang tag shows bracelet, nato, or leather? Is there any other way to tell on the warranty card similar to a Rolex? I can see that the card references a serial number, model number, and “72040”. I was wondering 72040 references the SS bracelet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sorry but can you give a quick reason why ADs would want to keep the hang tag? I can’t get my head around it.. thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tudor at Harrods wouldn't let me keep the tags.

-0001 bracelet -0002 leather -0003 nato the tudor warranty card only references the BB58 model - 79030 and serial number. no mention of bracelet, strap or nato. i picked mine up from a Rolex Boutique and i have a good relationship with the store, if that helps in regards to being given tag or no tag. |

No tag wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. It's just a tag

I’ve just purchased a Fifty-Eight. AD kept the tag. No big deal.
My serial also starts with I7. |
