Jay - get the one in the best condition is my advice. Personally I prefer no holes but holes and sel is a fave of many. I let a stick dial go once. My current 2005 will never go anywhere.
WF have a 2002 with holes. As ever a bit pricey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks Steve,, Yes seen those at WF ,, very nice full sets, 2 models without holes but a lot of money,, I have seen much cheaper but no papers and reputable sellers,, I think it’s grab one of these before they become unreachable for me ,, A couple will have to go out to allow this one in,, worth it I imagine though,, Cheers Steve Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think so mate. Try wf. They will sometimes knock a few percent off (I got 12 off my 16710), and they are generally good stock as you know.
Let us know what you get. All I know is this (for me) is the best watch Rolex ever made. Well worth the premium in comparison to the newer stuff. (Again, IMO only) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, in many ways it’s crazy. However, I just can’t really get on with modern Rolex cases (Daytona aside), and I’m fairly sure I’m not alone. That would make the 5 digits the Rolex of choice for many so with a demand like that I get why they are priced similar to their newer siblings.

I for one went “ round the houses” with other newer models like a blnr, Dj2 when I realised 36-40mm is the sweet spot and any sports watches will need to be five digit,,, my personal choice and I would like to see the blnr on a jubilee but not to own another at this time,, |

love love love the 16710 !! for me it was the no hole and sel that did it !
Just changed my insert to the coke one (first time) and I must say that I am digging the wine color ! |
