Welcome to TRF, Dan!

You have a great looking Tudor there! Personally, I like Tudor watches, but not so much the new ones. My favourites are the "Big Block" chronographs. Beautiful and sturdy watches and still to be had at decent prices.

I also like Tudor watches and owned a couple different ones years ago. My questions are: Is Tudor a Rolex owned concern? Why are they not available in the U.S.? Can they be imported from Canada? .....Now I understand the "Pre-Tiger" descriptions on some ebay Tudor chrono listings. Is this a Tiger Woods marketing scheme? I thought Tiger was a huckster for Tag Heuer... Who in the name of God would put "Tiger" on their otherwise quality watch? Might as well put "Ninja" or "Special Ops" or even "Ring Lock System" on the dial. They're all equally ruinous to the look.

Amen. Vintage Tudors offer a wide variety of styles not available from Rolex utilising quality Rolex modified Swiss movements all wrapped in a classic oyster case and wearing the Rolex crown.
