Looks beautiful and there's nothing like a beautiful new watch fresh out of the box. Never had a new Rolex, myself, best I can do is 25 years old. Congratulations too on your self control in saving for so long and selling a valued collection to get it!

Hope you don't mind but I have a question. If I read correctly, you said you have not so big hands. What made you choose the SD? I thought the SD being a little bigger than the Sub and Sub No Date would be to big. I am asking because I have small wrists (6-1/4 ish) and I really like that SD, but I was worried it would be to big and that I should probably go with a Sub No Date or Sub. Any advice you could give would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Teb1013, vintage or new they are all beautiful! But yes, it was nice to remove the stickers myself (still found one yesterday)! Doubted long on selling the miniature carmodels but I have no regrets!

Hi Steve36Efc, thank you! Yes that's for sure, although I wouldn't have mind it if I could have bought a bit earlier

Hello Dayusmc, ofcourse I don't mind, happy to help or at least try.
The bezel of the three watches are the same size, also for Rolex these are all three 40mm watches. The difference between the two Sub's and the Sea Dweller, are the size of the lugs. That would be all the steel surrounding the bezel, that's bigger on both the Sub models. So the Sub model just cover more space on your wrist. Something I didn't like on my size wrist. Also the crownguards (the steel surrounding the winding crown) on the Sub models are a bit bigger.
Because of this the Sea Dweller wears a little bit smaller on your wrist. I've often read that the difference is not too big, but to me it was quite significant. I did try on both the watches at the same time so could compare them with one another.

Having said that, the Sea Dweller is a thicker watch. The caseback stands out more than on the Sub models and the crystal is also thicker, both characteristics are noticable when on your wrist.
So in a nutshell, the Sea Dweller is a bit smaller but a bit thicker and it is also a little heavier.
I would really advice to try the watches on if you can and preferably at the same time, it helped me to make my decision.
Last but not least, the Sea Dweller is a bit more expensive than the Sub Date and the Sub Date a bit more expensive than the Sub No Date. So if the differences in size or design aren't too big for you the difference in price could be interesting.
