Nice! Did you see the Dixon crash from your seats? It was incredible on TV, would think much more so being there.

No. It's in one of the turns but the video was insane.

Yeah, they've replayed it from a bunch of different angles and it's amazing Dixon wasn't hurt at all. They just interviewed him on tv and he said "looking forward to next year". There was a photographer right under where his car ripped through the fence. He's lucky not to be hurt too.

Enjoy!

Yeah. The speeds here are nuts. It's a true testament to the engineering of these cars that no one died in that wreck.

Yeah, I've been there. Grew up in Evansville, went to IU Bloomington and lived in Broad Ripple for about 2 years. The race is great, unreal speeds. And that people not only survive wrecks like that the come out unharmed, though probably pretty sore, is a testament to the engineering and safety. In one replay the big fireball appears when the back is ripped of and then disappears immediately, almost like magic. No chance to burn anyone.

Nice. I went to iu too. Live in noblesville now. Frequent broad ripple when I've got time. Try to hit btown 3 or 4 times a year.
