stop saying it's scam please... nobody is selling nothing to nobody

passing on the deal. He sold it to watchmaker for parts. Nobody is being scammed here. it's a friend who got it through family and was hoping for good bid from me and hoped it to be all legit. Well we now know it definitly isnt. I am passing on it so thanks for the input.

no scamming, no secrets, just wanted advice

People tend to jump to conclusions as we have seen it happen too many times.

Still smells fishy…..watchmakers having fake/frankenwatches and then why would another watchmaker want that junk???

It's just his word, don't be too gullible.

I remember someone posted a vintage submariner a while ago, was being sold by his watchmaker, complete fake if I remember correctly. Who cares in the end.

Again nobody is or will be getting scammed. it's just a watch and there are real parts on it(just not 5512) and a watchmaker can use parts and movements for parts. I cant that's why i passed on it. But someone went indeed at some point in time crazy to make a frankenstein watch from this. Let's all be happy it's clear and wont be hitting the market

iam honest and have nothing to hide guys and in any case thanks for the input on this frankenstein and let's close this topic(next post will be something nice hahaha)

I know. I was merely being kind with my response. There is a reason we all stayed largely quiet on this thread.

I believe you're referring to my post on a fake 5512, I actually had the chance to go back to the watchmaker on 47th Street and told him what I learned, the watch still there to this day...
I also post it on the Italian Forum, so more people know about it
