I absolutely love both watches but I'd go with the Daytona.

Have both white and black Daytonas and a BLRO. BLRO wins by a mile. Daytona only really takes the cake if you want something purposefully quiet. BLRO just feels more substantial, more useful complications, more legible, little bit of color…. I also use my rotatable bezel regularly. Not once have I used my Daytona chronograph function since it’s so cumbersome. No brainer

Daytona looks classier. You'll likely never use the chrono or the gmt hand anw

Always a Daytona over Pepsi. For men of any age and women, casual or formal suits. Pepsi is for younger men, not a good look for an older man or formal dress.

Daytona, not even close. Lots of hype around the BLRO at the moment but would choose the Daytona any day of the week.

I have both and fortunately I don't have to choose. However, if I had to, I would repeat the shopping order as I did it the first time. First Pespi and then Daytona.

Daytona so elegant but not legible.
BLRO has great legibility but looks like a hulk of a watch compared to the elegance of the Daytona. Functionality over looks, so BLRO if the choice was mine. |

Are you getting the call from your AD? I actually really like both of those configurations, and have considered each for my collection. In as much as I’ve decided (a while back) that a Pepsi Jubilee would be my preferred next piece, I would have a hard time not going w/ the Daytona if I was getting at retail from AD…then adding the Pepsi soon thereafter and eventually if I just wasn’t feeling it I’d sell off the Daytona. Ultimately it would pay for the Pepsi and fund a good portion of whatever else I might add. If I was going Grey however, I’d likely just get the Pepsi from the get go!

The BLRO for me. I like the colors and jubilee bracelet. The Daytona is an icon but taking into account price, availability and function I prefer my Omega Speedmaster.

Tough call. I have a white dial SS Daytona and a BLRO and honestly couldn’t decide between the two if I had to pick one.

It really doesn't matter what any of us think. What I like may be totally opposite of what you like. Try both on the wrist and get the one that sings to you, that puts the biggest smile on your face. Only YOU can decide which one YOU like best.

Right now? Probably the Pepsi. Production is way down. If you want one and an AD is offering it, now is the time.

My 71 year old eyes prefer the legibility of the GMT over the Daytona. I'm so used to them being so easy to read and just wasn't comfortable with the beautiful and amazing Daytona.

Can you choose a white Daytona? That would be my preference. If had to choose between the black and Pepsi, then Pepsi, for me. But, this isn’t about me. Which one do YOU prefer?

When seeing the two side by side, it looks to me as though the
Pepsi needs to lose some weight. I hope they slim down the case at some point.

BLRO! As a pilot the GMT timezone and date are essential. Historic, iconic and military connection combine to make it my favorite model. Although only the BLRO works for me as i sold my BLNR and CHNR.
Daytona dial is cluttered, worthless for the most part. No date function. Certain 99% of folks never use the options on it. Will never be in my collection. |

I’ve had both and sold both. To me, the black Daytona looks cheap compared to the steel bezel Daytona. The BLRO to me the only thing it has going for it is the Jubilee band and clasp. But like everything it’s all a matter of preference and taste . And you know what they say about opinions.
