What I've heard is that they only want watches coming in from AD's and that having walk in traffic wasn't boosting efficiency of the service center. They are ramping up their watch repair program for the CPO process with their paid watchmaker training program and streamlining the RSC. As a Dallas resident living walking distance from the RSC-not a positive.

I am hoping they are being conservative on the timing and it will make it back a little sooner but you never know.
Because I don't have any warranty to concern with, I would really prefer to know who is working on my watch when it is time for service.
Some Dallas RSC reviews are great, some are not. Like going to your favorite restaurant not knowing that the chef walked out, and the busboy is cooking.

This all may be true/accurate, but the overarching reason in Dallas is the establishment of the watch repair technician training school they are (or have already) built on the first floor-where they used to receive customers. The other RSCs are taking walk in delivery - according to the call center.

Like we didn't already have enough to hate about the company... The watches - that's a different story. I hate Rolex corporate...

I'm glad Rolex RSC in Singapore allows walk-in customers.
