I had both at the same time briefly but kept the BLRO. Ultimately though all that matters is what you like best.

If buying ceramic, I’d go BLNR on oyster - it’s quite a loud, busy watch and that tones it down for me and I just prefer the colour.

If I was going to buy a GMT tomorrow, I would pick a BLRO but a 5 digit because I love the way the red on the aluminium ages.

On the modern ones, I might prefer BLNR slightly to BLRO. But my favorite by far would be an aluminum bezel BLRO.

Personally, the BLNR pips it for me.

I have a tough time consolidating the different variations in hues with the different reds and blues, and even in the latest bezels, to me, the colours on the BLRO juuuuust don't quite look right, when I compare them to the red/blue anodized colours on the aluminium bezels. They were much brighter and defined, to my eyes.

This, the BLNR on jubilee is perfect. The jubilee bracelet is SOOOOO good. Not sure why anyone would choose the oyster bracelet if given the choice.

BLNR by a mile for me..... not even close.

BLRO is a beautiful watch but the blue over top of the red creates a purple type hue that I'm not a fan of. BLRO in 5 series for sure.

If I follow that train of thought, why have any of the ones in my collection (see signature).
I do because I can and because I like them and wear them but none of that has anything to do with the simplicity of OP’s question which is what I answered.

I had the choice and picked BLNR. BLRO looks great in the catalog, but under sunlight or direct bright light, appears pale red and purple. Made the choice easy for me

To each their own. I chose the oyster because (a) I am a male and (b) I am not Liberace

Not sure why this has anything to do with being female or gay. I have a Rolex with an oyster bracelet as well and it is nowhere near as comfortable as a jubilee. Appreciate your comment though, very well thought out.

Anyone prefers BLNR over BLRO?

Own both, prefer the BLNR.

I fantasize about trading the BLNR for the Hulk, almost weekly. Will happen one day.

Double down, I prefer the GRNR over the BLRO too.

I have had many on oyster and jubilee. The jubilee is more comfortable and I personally like the look better. Will probably add an oyster again, but like oyster better on the subs. GMTs I really feel were made to have a jubilee. The only sports model that has one for a reason.

BLRO but I’ve always had Pepsi GMTs since long before the BLNR existed. Just a fan of the color I grew up seeing and wearing.

BLRO

However, if I hadn't had the choice, the BLNR on jubilee would have been a wonderful watch that I would have been pleased with, I'm sure.

I have 11 series BLNR on Oyster, 12 series BLNR on jubilee, 12 series BLRO on jubilee. I also have a 5 digit BLRO with multiple inserts.

I prefer BLNR in 6 series and BLRO in 5 series. The color combination of the 6 series BLRO bezel with purple hue does not look right to me. It just boils down to your preferences.

BLNR is my preference but it isn’t an especially strong one. I prefer vintage “Pepsi” hues over modern. So slight edge to BLNR.

Within BLNR, slight preference for oyster.
