Recently received my grail (Overseas) to complete the below three-piece collection. I rotate between the Overseas and YM for work/dress and wear the Moser with dress down/smart casual attire. It also is a sentimental trilogy for me.

Gift from wife: Moser
Gift from dad: YM
Grail: Overseas

Lacking one to complete the set of iconic black dial chronographs.

SS Sea air and land, sub, gmt and Daytona. Used to be concerned about having a dress watch, but now a days anything goes and I don’t ever wear my Nomos.

Nice! I am at Sewickley Academy all the time as my son is in an AAU circuit there, fantastic place. Love your style, really trying to get the Daytona. I am lined up for the subLV, but the Daytona is truly next to impossible to get for me.

I have three that are by far my favorite, which I consider fun. I could have only these three.

Rolex 126610 (classic watch that is good for most situations)
PAM 359 (This is just fun and gives me a chance to change things up a lot with the strap options)
Omega AT Green Dial (Classy looking watch that can be dressed up. Would probably be even more versatile with the blue dial, but I love the green. I wear it on a light brown alligator strap).

Well Ive posted on this 30 plus page thread a few times over the years but my collection has evolved a tad.

I now find these 3 to make one helluva trio and the perfect 3

What a small world. I graduated from SA (1984). Sewickley (and SA) are very dear and special places to me. I grew up (15 years) in one of the old steel magnate’s home (it’s called “Harton Hall” named after G. Harton Singer) at the top of Chestnut Road as one enters the Heights.

I hope you get “the call” for the Daytona! Great to connect with you via this forum!

I’m not sure if I answered this question in the distant past, but I think right now these would be the top three. Please, if we could do four I’d want a dressier watch as well, a Patek 5227.
