Picked mine today, 0 history with OB.

Looking good. I think I'm going to buy the deployant strap whenever I get mine.

This is what the Snoopy 50 strap is based off of but with a pin instead of deployant.

Nice to see someone with ZERO history with an Omega Boutique get their Snoopy.

I'll say it again: I truly believe that everyone on an OB waiting list will get their Snoopy. I believe this because I believe the lists are not as long as many are making them out to be. Demand will be met in my humble opinion.

US market is a different beast, unfortunately.
They are playing more the "R" game here. It's obvious.
Meeting demand it means they will have to make an insane number at the moment. I'm not sure they will go that way.
It's possible that the demand will decrease, given the long wait.

Congrats to nicolamilton. It's really a beautiful piece. Under the sunlight it's even better.

Any new incomings in the US or Canada? It's been 5 months since the release and Omega has only released bread crumbs on this model.

Case back is something spectacular as you can imagine, but in the end you'll forget about it, except if you are showing it to someone. You will enjoy with the look of their faces and open eyes.

Disappointed they didn’t put a deployant on it at that price.

Personally I prefer the pin buckle. less bulk underneath, although I get why people like them.

Silly question time.

Are the pins in pin buckles and deployment clasps just ordinary spring bars?

I can’t talk to the deployant but for the pin buckles - yes (but different diameter obviously). You can therefore change the pin buckle between straps

Thanks for this.

I’ve sometimes wondered about this and how you change straps with deployment clasps.
