Agreed. Lest we forget markets are tanking right now and just 12 months or so ago you could buy a LF galet micro rotor with a better finished movement for like 30k.

No doubt.

I am also anxious about the MSRP of this watch, in spite of being a previous LF purchaser. If it weren't for inflation driving many manufacturer's to enact significant price increases, I would probably pass on the Sport Auto. Of course, once I have the watch on wrist, I am sure that all doubts will vanish

Agreed... except for the part about "better" finished movement, where I would still respectfully disagree with you.

As a sports watch it is pretty practical, winder not protected notwithstanding, as well as very attractive. As one gets older the titanium is greatly appreciated;(incidentally strong rumours P. P. Naut successor may well be titanium).
My personal Ferrier favourite is the blue origins, but as an admirer of the brand I’d happily wear every and any Ferrier.

Hi Guys - New to this forum just pulled the trigger on this watch - delivery dec 2024 now.

Seems this watch has mixed reviews to me its very striking, although I have not seen one up close so I guess time will tell.

Mine just arrived the other day. It’s an outstanding piece. I’ll send my full impressions with more pics once I’ve had it on the wrist for a few days (it arrived the same day was leaving for work travel so it sits at home while I’m away).

Fit looks good for a sport piece.

The one listed on Subdial indicated something about a car that was included, so...

Can't wait to see your review! A true watch connoisseur review is different from YouTube or online article. Worth the wait.

AD confirmed that they did receive the car. She was unaware that they came together until I reached out, so it was just sitting at the store. Thanks for the heads up! I'll post a pic when it comes.

I spoke with Robert and Charles at Laurent Ferrier about whether the above video (from Laurent's original blog post on the Sport Auto - https://laurentferrier.ch/blogs/news...new-sport-auto) should be public as it's an informative video from the brand itself regarding the Sport Auto. However, it only has 33 views (lol like half are probably mine) due to its unlisted nature... they said they would ask the marketing team as to why this is an unlisted video when it is embedded in a public post from Laurent.

Also, pic of the day attached.

Thanks all. Yes, ever since I got it in October it’s hardly ever left my wrist as well!

Hope everyone that wants one is able to get one soon.

How large does this wear? Larger than the steel Lange Odysseus? Smaller than a 41mm Royal Oak chrono?
