John sadly that one is long gone too. It was one of the etc. along with many many more.

It’s all good and I have had opportunity to enjoy some of the best vintage watches ever and for that I am thankful.

C'est la vie. I totally hear you buddy. There's nothing material we can take with us anyway and the important thing is enjoying the ride.

Don't feel so bad, I sold my 6263 in mint condition service by Rolex in 1993 for $5k. Somebody shoot me.

Can't believe I sold my black full set one that was recently serviced for about $ 8500 worth of Japanese Yen at the time. About 9 years ago.

WTF was I thinking?!

Been working for two years to buy another 6263 but still no luck. The owner likes my mint 116520 D series full set plus cash. I met his cash valuation but he balked.

Yeah, same. I could find a similar full-set on Chrono24 for like 25k. What gives on this one?

Mine has a couple of faults, the 6 is inverted, and the subdails have gone a light brown. :)

I'm considering a 116520 (Dec 2015), its priced at $16.6k very reputable seller here. Make sense or not? Also I'm in line for the White Ceramic Daytona, supposedly due in the next 3-4 months.

Am I thinking straight about the 116520?

No one has really mentioned anything about the Patrizzi as it relates to the value. Not exactly sure what serials of the black dials are considered true Patrizzis offhand. Outside of a floating cosmograph, nothing puts more of a premium on a Daytona and a little oxidization.

I was looking at this watch and what made this different from the others is the absence of Daytona printing at 6. Hence the high selling price.
Anyone care to chime in if this is an error dial?

After checkin' out the Classifieds here on TRF, looks like these 5 digits have been climbing in price...some now over the 30k mark.

From $10-12k to 35k plus in today’s market, nice upward trend in 3 years time

Now I wonder what’s gonna happen with 16520 prices in late 2020 or early 2021 after pandemic / economy
