Its inevitable - don't stress about it.

Watches were made to be worn not wrapped in cotton wool!

Standard bracelet and clasp on the 16710 BLRO. I'm manic about scratches on the crystal and bezel but unconcerned with the clasp. I expect my watches to get some wear on the clasp since I wear them every day. No safe queens for me.

Here's my GMTIIc after two months of constant wear:

So glad I don't stress about scratches. Loosing out on enjoying the PCL's would be such a shame!

Here's my year old BLRO. The picture does it no justice. There are plenty swirl marks.

114060 after approx. 6 weeks of daily wear. The scratches are really only visible in direct sunlight...so far.

The clasp from my U-serial 16710. Never polished. It has its fair share of scratches, but I like it this way with the coronet nice and bold.

That looks like more scratches than one man can give a watch.

Here is mine after a year... I took it in the best light possible to show the scratches. To the guy with the pelagos, what happened? is that from daily wear only?

I wear it to work religiously for the past 3 years.I own a carpentry business doing mostly high end finish work and furniture building. I wish I had the balls to wear my sub as hard.

Funny, just thinking about this thread earlier today. New Sky Dweller is almost ready for servicing after a month and a half of wear.

Ceramic Daytona, 3 months old... I was heated for 2-3 days after the fact, then it all went away and I’ll remember that tumble into the Wynn pool after hours for the rest of my life when I wear the watch
