Oh man, are those two beautiful timepieces! That AP is too friggin' cool for words - I've never seen that exact model, and haven't seen a lot of those on straps. That one is really stunning - I love the black dials - along with the red accents they really make that watch pop. Congrats!

Yea, it wears smaller than the 233 in my opinion. It's a little heaver, but overall wears smaller. I got it from an out of state AD, I don't buy anything in Illinois because I don't want to get hit w/the sales tax. The only AD in Illinois for AP is Swiss Fine Timing, though a couple of the jeweler's row shops carry AP. I'll try pieces on locally, but it's just not worth paying the sales tax, especially when you are talking a watch as expensive as an AP.

Yea, I would never pay MSRP for a watch. If you're a good negotiator, you should be able to get pretty close to what grey dealers are selling for.
