LuxuryBazaar.com and dexclusive.com - legit?
I'm a Rolex newbie and couldn't find much discussion on these two sellers. Anyone who knows whether these guys are legit? Any thoughts are much appreciated!!
The sales rep from dExclusive.com told me she could not tell me the first letter of the serial number of the Explorer II 16570 I was looking into, because her supplier refuses to do so for "security reasons". Is this a legit claim? Why not even the first letter? Thanks! |

That sounds odd... Why not the first letter... what are you going to do with it !! normally you need the first couple of letters... how would you know the age of the watch if you can work it out from the serial number.... proceed with caution I say.

Thank you julioa007 for convincing me that if something doesn't feel right, then go with your gut and that would be the right thing to do.
I just bought my Explorer II 16570 black dial z-serial from DavidSW instead. From my first reaching out to him, to wrapping up the transaction and getting the tracking number, it took exactly an hour. Super fast! DavidSW also thank you for answering my questions. Can't wait for the delivery. |

Correction...V-Serial from DavidSW
Yes, the v-serial Explorer II, not z-serial. My bad!

I've dealt with Roman from LuxuryBazaar.com for a couple purchases over the years. They do have a great reputation in regards to grey market dealers. I haven't heard anything bad about dexclusive.com either but have never dealt with them. A quick google search should bring up more than a few reviews for each.

Sales associates are often confused and make mistakes, don't blame the company.
