It is all a matter of personal preference, but I don't "do" TT watches in general.
For me, there is EITHER steel OR gold. Never the two mixed.

SS for the daytona!!!!! If you want a TT I would go with a TT blue or black Sub!

SS Daytona (or any watch). TT is not my thing.

Everyone wants a SS Daytona but I get a lot of complements on my TT Daytona black face. Not as big of a fan of the white face in TT but that is just me. Get whatever you like. The TT is a piece of cake to get your hands on. I bought mine 12 years ago and it was cheaper than the SS (which I could not get at the time). I use the TT as my "dress watch."

Not much has changed in 12 years! The SS still goes for more than the TT in the secondary market! |

For the Daytona, I like SS and white gold. So, I prefer the Daytona with just one color in the bracelet.
For all other models, I like SS, TT and all gold. For the Day Date, I like platinum as well.

The best buy in TT is a blue or black Sub.My Blue TT Sub is my daily work watch.
TT Daytonas are nice too,but there are alternatives at that pricepoint.A ss Daytona has no alternative .... its the ss King. |
