I saw and really liked. I prefer the real deal, but Omega did right with this one.

That's one of the best reissues I've seen in a while. I can't wait to get one.

I like having the chrono hands painted a different color from the time hands.

I bought the original while on R&R in Hawaii back in 70. Paid 295.00 for it. Most comfortable watch I ever wore.. Very tempted to buy this new one. I heard 2500.00, is this correct?

FYI, the lugs on the new Mark II are 20mm for those interested in wearing it on a NATO or Speedy strap. There's a couple reviews out there that say the lugs are 22mm. That's wrong. I just picked one up and I can confirm they're actually 20mm. It's a heavy watch so a strap is a good option, although Omega doesn't offer it that way from the factory. Only the bracelet is available stock.

Saw the MKII in both dial configurations, at an Omega Boutique the other day. The orange accent dial looks much better, IMO.

Does anyone know if the clasp from a new mark II fits the older version? I really like the clasp micro adjustments from the new release but like the size of the original mark II.

I had a chance to see the classic Mark II re-release when I went to Chicago. It seems to be a very nice watch!
