Strap for Diver - same as AP 44mm
Does anyone know if the strap on Diver is same dimensions as an AP 44mm? Same lug and buckle width? Looking to get one and play with the straps. Thanks

I am not 100% sure about the diver but i think the 42mm and the diver use the same strap and the 44mm and the 42mm ROO use the same strap, buckle width is the same and they use the same lugs.

NO strap is interchangeable between Diver/Classic Roo Chrono (all 42mm) and ANY 44mm AP (Schumacher, Grand Prix, 44 Novelty's.)
The case size is different and lugs will NOT work! That being said, as far as widths - YES, as "tcheeco" stated the Tang buckle from Both the Diver series (Any Diver) and all 44mm watches measure 24mm in width - so the buckles can be switched, that is it. The Classic Roo deployant was 18mm and straps tapered to such. The 2014 Roo SIHH Chronos (42mm) also use a new Tang buckle - but although it looks the same, don't get confused - it is different from the Diver and 44 Tangs as this tang measures 20mm in width! Hope I've helped. |

I know AP has straps that fit all 42mm ROOs but the 44mm don't fit with the 42mm straps and they have different tang buckles for the 42mm and 44mm

ok so let me clear this up
AP makes straps for 42 and 44. The straps are not interchangeable (the distance between the lugs is different) AP makes two types of rubber straps for 42 mm offshores with Tang buckle 1) tapers to 22mm tang buckle (the same size as the 44mm tang buckle) 2) tapers to 20mm tang buckle |

Isn't that what I said? Quote:
Wrong. When speaking about rubber specifically, and only for 42's - there are actually three options, and one point of yours was wrong. 1. Tapers to 24mm (NOT 22mm) - 24mm is the same size as 44 Tang buckle. Again, not 22. These come on DIVER cases only, although the straps are interchangeable with older/other cases. 2. Tapers to 20mm Tang buckle. You are correct, but this ONLY comes on the SIHH 2014 Roos, although the straps are interchangeable with older/other cases. 3. Classic Roo models from 2007-2014 had straps that tapered to 18mm for deployant. Again, like I said |

So if I have a SS diver and I wanted to buy some OEM leather straps made by AP, what should I be looking for? Can I buy any leather strap that was on a 42mm ROO, and same if I wanted to buy a SS bracelet from a 42mm ROO. Will they fit a SS diver? I thought I had this all figured out but became a little confused reading this thread.

I am wanting to get a new rubber strap for my ROO Diver 42mm, I just need a sanity check that I understand this correctly.
I need a strap thats 28mm (lug end) that tapers to 24mm (buckle end)? I also read it was 30mm which has probably confused me. Does anyone have a guide or spec sheet on what constitutes a standard length , Small or large size strap? My wrist is approximately 17cm or 6.7 inch. Thanks heaps |
