Rolex 18038 “normal” black dial premium?

Hey all,

I’m wondering, is there something special about a Rolex Day Date 18038 with a normal black dial with “stick markers”? There’s one going on ebay now which seems to be selling at a premium compared to those in champagne dials. Currently at $6400 bid. The champagne ones are around the 5k mark. Hmm. Am I missing something?
