Is this Sub a steal? or a canal street knockoff?

Hello Gentleman, I found myself perusing the facebook market before bed as I usually do and I came upon this sub with a price that was too good to be true. I am well aware of the old addage of things that are too good to be true, however I couldn't resist and I sent the seller a message. So this young man informed me that his grandfather had passed and he was left this watch. I am by no means a watch expert but something does seem a little off about this sub. My odd feeling about the watch coupled with the fact that it is on facebook market led me to ask when it was purchased. The seller says he has no clue, so I inquire about the warranty card and it is blank in the places that count. I would certainly like to own a classic sub if it is genuine, but because of my limited knowledge I thought I would present the facts here. I felt it would be best to seek counsel and get some expert opinions. I will include pictures, all opinions (postive and negative ) and perspectives appreciated and welcomed! Thank You all in advance

Hopefully I posted these photos correctly.

FB marketplace is full of fakes and flippers. You’ll never find the person again... and you have no recourse — as it’s a private transaction.

There are no images posted, but dead grandpa stories rarely end well.

Hahah exactly. You think they’d start using a few other stories as the grandpa inheritance has proliferated the market. But I suppose, don’t fix something that isn’t broken. 🤷*♀️

That is a completely fake turd. It's one thing to own a fake watch, it's another thing to try and rip someone off by selling it as authentic. These people make me sick.

you’re not buying a submariner for 50% off. If someone is selling it for 50% off, they are going to take your money.

I hope grandpa wasn't a Covid victim. That would be sad.

Is this Sub a steal? or a canal street knockoff?

Do you really need to ask when it’s advertised for $5k usd? Didn’t even need the pics to make judgement that the watch is fake or the person selling it is fake.
