Is the datejust 36mm in bi metal yellow gold outdated now ? Or still a classic ?

Once a classic always a classic. I prefer the DJ in SS with the fluted bezel and the jubilee bracelet. Classic and old school but still modern. Nothing against TT but that is what ages the watch and gives it the 70's-80's vibe that if you are the right person, works. But if you are not, then it just looks tired. I would buy what you like, can afford and will wear. Good luck.

I own a TT datejust in 36mm. (White dial)

Feels just as modern as my SS datejust 36mm.

Probably the champagne dial makes it older. Go for other dials.

Always associated the champagne dial two tone as the ultimate old man Rolex watch. But it caught my eye in my local AD recently. I’ve been looking at images of the model since.
