I think the new Sub looks great! Rolex is having fun with some new colors on the OP - more options for their current and NEW customers!

Underwhelming.

New Subs very very minimal change.

White gold & blue is gorgeous but not at 32k uk price.

Nothing that that interests me. Was hoping for a black dial on the DD 36 WG.

SS crown on the Bluesy is a abomination. I want to see calipers on the new Sub.

Let’s face it, a blue bezel SS Sub would have instantly blown the roof off of every waiting list to get.

Green bezel Sub=‘s “been there done that”. It’s just a new McRib we already had before.
99.8% of the world won’t know any difference with either current or new black Sub. It’s a black Sub. The 32 series movement is the real upgrade.

41mm won’t be as comfortable as the 40mm Sub. 40mm is really what Rolex know and does best. I thought how much different can a SD43 feel on the wrist compared to a 40mm Sub. It was the only Rolex model I couldn’t wear.

I think an important point is that the new submariner is not suppose to be a NEW submariner in the sense that it replaces your current/older submariner, like a new car model. Its for someone that doesn't own a submariner yet. Albeit the changes are subtle, they are improvements. There was nothing wrong with the previous iteration. The submariner has always been perfect so theres nothing that needs to be changed.

Did they remove the etched crown on the crystal at the 6 o'clock?

I guffawed at the release. Rolex should have just kept all the dimensions and released a new movement. I would've gone crazy over that. Long live 40mmx20mm!

Depends on availability and if I will be able to buy one. I like the new Kermit and the aqua OP but I am tired of playing the AD games.

Nice change, not too thrilled about the new offerings. I'll keep my Hulk. I wonder how that will drive up the secondary market for the older models.

Seeing the Sub side by side with 11 series, it doesn't look bad at all (to my surprise), slimmer lugs a plus... would have to try on and see, though I would have preferred to keep it 40mm or even do the BB58 thing with 39.

But where I'm really disappointed is the discontinued OP39 (which I was planning to get, but thought it might be smart to wait and see if they update the movement)... So I guess I am more disappointed with myself for taking that gamble

Also the OP colors are just awful. I like conservative watches and these are not it.

Its ok I guess, but I just took myself off my Submariner waitlist. I still have some Rolexes I desire. Just one less.

No big deal.

Honestly, Kinda of a shiity year in general. Why should Rolex be different.

I think I like the OP colors but I’d need to see them in person to be sure. They remind me of Stella dials. Sub, what a disappointment. It was already too big, the wider bracelet makes it a death sentence for my small wrists :(

LOVE the slimmer lugs. Was never a huge fan of the thicker lugs but dealt with it because it was the only option. These slimmed down lugs will hopefully also make the sub look better on a nato as well

I'm still happy about my decision with the SD4k. 40mm with slim lugs is the winning formula.

Looks like it will be the last modern Rolex that will ever be made with that case.

I will say the new Sub 41 looks better than the 40mm maxi-case. I do wonder what the lug to lug height is cause that is what really matters.
