For those obsessed with their Rolex's value, a bit of wisdom.

I've stumbled upon this vintage Scrooge McDuck comic the other day, and found that the "lesson" is surprisingly appropriate for this forum.

Who would have thought a Duck would have pegged Rolex owners years ago!

Damn! Hit the nail on the head with that one.

On another topic, which hot Rolex watch should I purchase that will be worth the most in 10 years time? Hulk, pepsi, batman, or cermit? I've been offered all 4. Which one do I like the best?

You're most welcome.

I find the last quote surprisingly insightful. Learn to treasure what which has value to you, not others.

The author, Don Rosa, surely had some wisdom to share!

Wear them, scratch them and don’t worry about keeping them pristine for the next owner.

Worn & enjoyed every one I’ve ever bought. But equally happy if someone wants help me buy another once I’ve had some fun out of it.

Very cool and great wisdom from that duck! Where did you find the old cartoon? Perhaps there are more wise lessons....looking forward to another!

I used to read these a lot in my youth, and wanted to see if I could find one or two online. This specific one was found here.
