We're actually at delivery #2 now! First one in Switzerland and the 2nd one in the UK.

There were 5 deliveries in Switzerland, as far as I know. Needless to say, I am not one of them :). I have a feeling Omega will be extra careful with the first allocations because CAL 321 appeared very quickly on Chrono with a disappointing result.

I think too many of the first allocated popped up on Chrono. They are around 18-20K on a 14K watch, I think they wanted a higher after market price.

I speculate, but the whole idea was the initial Cal 321 watches to go to real collectors the way Lange sold the Odysseus, which is extremely rare on the secondary market, and more than double the MSRP.

I could be wrong.

There is tons more interest in the snoopy than 321

I don’t see many of them going on Chrono soon.
This is well controlled by Omega, production rate and deliveries are so slow that flooding the secondary market is objectively impossible.
Flippers are going after ADs they have a relation with, applying the Rolex model they will help them move not so hot references helping with inventory, and in exchange will get a Snoopy.
Those are the references we will see on the market.
The good thing is that the number of references going to ADs are very limited.
So this game will be heavily controlled by the OBs, for sure during the first two years.

1 so far on Chrono, posted the link in the other topic.

It is a weird posting, they claim to have 3 watches, but they have used the generic photos of the commercials. Why not show actual shots of the watch>?

Probably because they created the posting as soon as the got the confirmation of the references. They don’t even have the link of the reference number working. Also, it seems that they do the same thing with many of the references they have in their listing.

what is annoying is that they have 3.

Omega monitoring is really key now.

Noticed that as well. Crazy they even put that in the listing.

What’s annoying about it? Why do omega need to monitor anything. As long as they sell the watches, I suspect they won’t care.

Btw, I suspect they do have the watches. They were one of the first to get the 321 also. They usually price high though. Expect a couple of drops before someone bites....

The listing is off now. So weird.

I mean Omega needs to monitor these watches getting sold to flippers. At the moment only OB are placing the references. It’s really strange that 3 went on the secondary market so quickly.
With the mechanism that is in place this shouldn’t really happen.

Someone posted on Omegaforums that there’s one listed on eBay now. £12500 starting price.

My OB got one today. Unfortunately, it didn’t have my name on it. But I got to see it. The silver and blue work really nicely together.

It is indeed very nice in person; sadly this one didn't have my name on it either.

So are the sales staff letting people handle watches which are reserved for other people?

I agree I’ve always hated this practise of letting others handle someone else’s brand new watch that privilege is the customers and posting pics of it is just wrong on so many levels

When I got my Apollo 11 50th they brought out a customers gold version in plastic to show me yes I looked but didn’t touch it’s just not yours to do that with and I’d feel uncomfortable

So someone is going to pick up their new watch, which has already been handled and tried on by who knows how may people!
