Oh YEAH!
Got it today!
I want to thank everyone for there help and suggestions! I am officially HOOKED... I ended up buying a new Sub Date Z serial from Rob and I was lucky enough to live in the same city and had a chance to sit down with him and his lovely wife and talk watches for almost an hour. (she might be as much of watch fan as him ) Here's the pics" Oh the lovely watch in daylight... but wait is there something on the bezel...why yes there is! The watch was never put on, it had ever little piece of plastic covering the sides of the watch/bezel/back... when I put it on it reminded me of the first time I had se....well never mind we don't need to go there, but the experience of a new Rolex did last longer Here is a pic with all the protection off... and just cause I wanted to see if I could! Anyhow thank you and I hope you guys didn't start an addiction! |

Like you say "Oh YEAH". BTW where's the sticker off the back??
When I got my BNIB SD, for the first week I'd take it off before I got in the shower because I didn't want to get it wet Enjoy, the watch will last forever. |

Best of luck with the new watch and wear the watch in good health. I'm very curious as to how the watch was obtained. Since the Z series is basically brand new, what was the advantage of purchasing the watch from an individual rather than an authorized dealer??? Did you save enough to make it worth while not to purchase the watch from an AD??
I was just wondering why someone would be selling a brand new Z series SS Sub Date basically "unworn", and if the savings were worth not simply buying it brand new in the box from an authorized dealer with your name as the original purchaser on the warranty, etc ? |

The back sticker is still on...scared to take it off...
The watch wasn't readily available here and I wanted it NOW... I received excellent referrences on RobRobin and he had a Z serial which interested me quite a bit...and I saved over $700 off current pricing w/tax. I checked everywhere no AD's had it and the grey markets that did have it they were charging $100 over MSRP plus tax. The inside story I kept hearing was that they were holding many of them back until the price increase... |

Excellent purchase, Scott. Always love the Sub, especially one with all the plastic still on!
