Sorry, no help on this one. But I had one with a cream coloured outer circle on the dial, and posted it for comment. The consensus was that it was genuine, but “quirky”. The outer circle was absolutely perfectly round.

This.

Dial in OP is also good - weird, but good.

The 6694 is referred to as an oysterdate, so i must assume the dial is a replacement.

That isnt a 6694. Most likely a 6426 since there is no date. The dial is aftermarket or a repainted center. Never seen that dial in any advertisement or catalog.

Also, the dial and hands are for a gold capped or gold plated model which yours is not.

Dear offrdmania, i do think there is a white ring as well around the indices... i know early "bullseye" models with that inner circle, but the outter ring?!

Could the OP add further "better" pictures of the watch face please?

Are you buying this watch? Have you asked for the bracelet to be removed, to reveal ser and ref no, to easily settle the argument?

You are right; it is, in fact, a 6426 precision.

As for the gold dial and hands, I have seen it before on steel oyster precisions, but the dial seems refinished, as many precisions unfortunately are.
