how often do you wash your watch?
I wash mine every time I'm about to put in back in the watch box and grab another watch. Typically switch watches every day or two so washing watches almost daily.
What about you?

~ once per week in the summer, less often in winter and almost always when a piece is not going to be worn for a while.

I answered "occasionally but not often." My watch is steel. I wipe it with a microfiber cloth each night when I take it off. Every couple of weeks, I clean the watch and bracelet with a Zeiss lens wipe. Every couple of months, I wash the watch and bracelet with Dawn.

I was washing it once a week maybe before. But then I got the Daytona and the ceramic bezel and polished lugs gets dirt very easily so I almost clean it daily under water and some soap.

None of these fit. The answer is, more frequently in the summer (I live in the humid south) when I'm sweaty, less frequently in the winter when it's dry.
I will also only put a relatively clean watch back in the box. I rotate between my watches, and if I pull one out I wear it at least a week, and sometimes 3 or 4, then rotate. Serial watch monogamy. |

More in summer. Daily when at the beach. Or after a day in the pool.

When it needs it. My Rolex do not collect crud in crevices like some watches tend to do. So washing is not needed often. If I went to the beach or was in dusty gritty conditions with a watch on, I would wash it soon after to remove sand, salt and grit.

Quick rinse of soap and warm water to get any oils and other elements off, from the day of wearing.

I’ll usually shower with the watch I’ve been wearing all day so I now keep a small bottle of Dawn in the shower for my watch. Then I put on a different clean, dry watch for the rest of the day.

When I notice it needs it, which is about once a week. I remove my rings, put a dab of dawn in my hand, add water and then hold between my hands and rub it down, rinse and dry, and back on my wrist. Then, rings back on.

Honestly once a year or so I mix up some soapy water and soak it for a minute or two and rotate the bezel a bit before rinsing it off.

Is it even safe to wash your Rolex??
Joking. I have a rotation but I’d say I wash every 7-10 wears. Just a small amount of Dawn dish soap and a micro fiber to dry. No toothbrush. My AD also washes my watch when I stop by. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
