IW371903 and IWC service
I bought this pre owned well over 10 years ago.
I have never had an issue with it but sometimes it feels a little gritty when setting it now and heck it's just time to get it serviced. No polish, just a service. Made the service request right on the IWC site, they sent a box and label so I sent it in. Its a basic eta movement more or less and Im sure any local could have handled it but as silly as it is I love this watch even though its one of my less expensive watches I decided to let IWC do it as if it needs any parts etc they have it all there. Seriously this watch is an amazing value! Day Date, inner rotating dive bezel, chrono, Ti, quick change bracelet/strap system and reliable as can be! 5/10 Sent to IWC with their pre paid service package 5/15 Email received from IWC my watch with with their experts 5/16 Email received with service estimate Complete Service $ 700.00 Replacement of the second hand Complimentary Replacement of the second counter hand Complimentary Replacement of the counter hand Complimentary Replacement of the hour & minute hands Complimentary I think that's a fair price for a day, date, chrono. They said it would be 10 weeks. Yesterday IWC sent me an email telling me it was ready with payment instructions. I should have it back in my hands next week! Pretty impressive turn around. Only thing is they noted my crystal had the AR coating scratched but did not offer me an option to replace it.

Wow, that's awesome. Thanks for reporting about it. As for the crystal, I'm guessing it could be something not even noticeable with the naked eye, and they're just noting it to cover their butts. Omega Service Centers cover their butts the same way.

IWC is so legit. Most of their designs do very little for me but what a solid brand.

Nice. My chrono probably needs a service.
