Panda 116500LN to a RO 15450ST
Anyone who’s traded up from a 116500LN white dial to a Royal oak 15450ST Blue dial, did it feel like an upgrade in quality. Also how did the RO 37mm wear in comparison to the Daytona?

That’s a tough call. I do like the proportions on the 15450, but the Jumbo is best at 39mm.
I’d personally keep the 116500 White. Rolex are tanks, low cost of service relative to the AP, and it’s the pinnacle of modern SS sport watch alongside the 15202 and 5711. My vote would be to keep. |

The Daytona fits my smaller wrist perfectly but I’m afraid the Jumbo 39mm would wear too large. Ultimately I’m probably leaning towards just keeping the panda and adding RO.

I’m lucky enough to own both. The Daytona is imo one of the best sports watches out there. The 15450, is almost more comparable to a datejust or day date in terms of functionality. It lacks WR and is less robust for daily wear as the bracelet is finished with more polish which can mark easier.
It’s finishing is better, movements nicer, but, you loose the robust versatility Rolex offers. I would try to add rather than replace. They make an incredible duo In terms of how they wear. Smaller dial, slightly bigger case. But size wise if you can wear the Daytona the 15450 is the way to go. I think re sale of the ap would be a bit tougher than the 116500

Upgrade in level of finishing, definitely, but the Daytona wears better as a daily piece.
Daytona wears bigger than the RO, but the latter presents as a classier piece as opposed to the Daytona’s sportier look. |

I prefer the Daytona. It is a robust watch with a lot of pop and fun to wear if it is for you.
