Icon2 FS: Hong Kong Sale Only. Rolex Submariner 5513 (1989)

Please note that this watch is only for sale in Hong Kong. No overseas shipping, sorry.

This L-serial Submariner 5513 has been in my collection since 2013, and was serviced at the Rolex Service Centre here in Hong Kong soon after I bought it. At that time it received a new Luminova dial, hands and lume pip, and a new Triplock crown.

It was fitted with a new acrylic crystal at the same RSC to regain its original 200m water resistance in 2015. Case, caseback, bracelet, clasp, movement, bezel and bezel insert are all original to the watch.

The case is in excellent condition. Dial and hands are perfect, with strong lume, making this a great choice for anyone looking for a combination of authentic vintage styling (very much as it would have looked in 1989 with original WG-surrounds dial) and modern functionality.

On my wrist over the past week, the watch has been gaining about 5 secs per 24 hrs when worn all day and left crown up overnight – so just about within COSC specs (-4/+6). Amplitude is strong (300+) with zero beat error when dial up.

The original 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks (clasp code N11 for November 1989) has 11 links with diver extension. It’s also in great shape other than two tiny dents in one link.

Both RSC service papers are included, along with the original Rolex Submariner booklet (dated May 1989), Your Rolex Oyster booklet (dated August 1988), a 1989/1990 Rolex calendar card, and both inner and outer boxes (moon crater, reference 68.00.08), as shown in the first photo.

The watch has seldom been worn since service, but put on a winder occasionally to keep the movement in good working order.

Price: HK$88,000 including delivery anywhere in Hong Kong.

Please drop me a private message here with enquiries or offers.

Thank you for looking.
