Some folks here were trolling him pretty hard but I must have missed it as well. My guess is the trolling eventually got the best of him.

Good question. I bumped my for sale thread at the 40 hour mark when the rule is minimum 48 hours, on two separate occasions, resulting in a 3 day “ban.” I interpret 48 hours as just two days, not 48 literal individual hours. They are very strict, but I suppose they need to keep tight control over the for sale section so I guess it makes sense. Anyways... if you’re selling anything on here, don’t bump your thread more than once in 48 literal hours...

48 hours is 48 hours. It couldn’t be more clear. Honestly, I don’t know anyone who interprets 48 hours as 40 hours, especially after being warned previously.

But welcome back. It’s been quiet while you were away. :-)

All APs will have these scratches on the bezel if its been worn unless the buyer is careful with whatever he does ALL the time.

I've said it once and say it again these are scratch magnets. Very very hard to keep these looking clean all the time.

As already said above by Ash - bezel needs to come off to be brushed on the face.

It’s not a job carried out on a polishing wheel either.

AP were kind enough to let me have a go at refinishing a training bezel when I visited them earlier in the year. The amount of polishing which is done by hand & judged by eye really surprised me as if previously assumed they would have used a fixed jig for everything. But it’s 100% in the skill of the watchmaker who gets it right.

Passing on this is the right call I think.
