Hi Guys,

Just need opinions on these, Very vague description :

"BOTH OF THESE LADYS WATCHES ARE GENUINE.THEY ARE NOT COPYS.IF THEY WERE I WOULD NOT SELL THEM ON EBAY.ONLY ONE WORKS.BUT PIN THE IS STUCK OUT A LITTLE.THE OTHER.WATCH DONT WORK.BOTH WATCHES HAVE TIME AND DATE. BOTH WATCHES ARE THE WIND UP TYPE.BOTH ARE SWISS MADE.AND ONE HAS THE REGISTRATION ON THE BACK.WOULD SUIT WATCH REPAIRER.WILL BE SOLD AS IS."

Me:
Hi Robert2008.2008, Do these watches come with papers and Boxes? also do you have the model numbers and serials handy (located between lugs at 12 and 6 o'clock where bracelet connects to the watches, Cheers Dave.

Seller:
I have only one number on the back of one watch.I cant see any other on the dial.besides I cant see so well.but one has the number69174.and what it says on the dial.oyster perpetual.officially certified-

Hi Dave here again :-), the model and serial are stamped on the outside of the case but hidden and can be found when the strap is removed, model number is on the 12 o'clock side and serial is on the 6 o'clock side :-) 69174 is the model of the watch which you've found on the hologram sticker at the back :-) Sorry to bug you with silly questions, I'm in the business and collect and repair genuine Rolex and so forth, Cheers again, Dave.

This fellow has good feedback both as buyer and seller, as stated in his description these watches are genuine and knows not to sell fakes, he needs to back this up. I'm still waiting for an answer, I'm hoping he's popping the bracelets off and grabbing the info and adding it to the sale.

Why tarnish a good track record for the sake of a couple of $$$$$.

Seller is still scooting round the edges of authenticity.

On 26-Feb-09 at 21:57:48 AEDST, seller added the following information:

one watch has a model number on its back being 69174.and says on the face what it is.oyster perpetual.date adjust officaly certified.and swiss made printed on the bottom under the 6.under the 12 it has the trade mark design.thats all that I know about them.
