Odd how wildly different people’s experience is.

TRF poster: Be prepared to wait 39 years for a pepsi....

Also TRF poster: Pepsi’s in stock at AD’s, few days wait time....

It's a reflection on the glasslike shiny bezel.

Nice looking watch!

Congratulations.

As far as supply goes my AD who supplies me has received 8 Pepsis since launch and well over 30 Daytonas. He says it is still the most difficult to get garden variety SS but the demand for the Daytona is far higher.

eh...I suppose
Imagina paying 20-22K for this 6 months ago and coming here bragging about how you don't mind paying a premium to have it faster but be down 6K on a watch already

That 6K is another watch to add to the collection now which they will never have

It is what it is.

I use that phrase too much but it's applicable to everything in life.

Not sure what to say to be honest. The dealer I go to gets about 2-3 a month.

The problem is there are too many flippers out there searching for ill gotten gains. The ADs I use generally estimate that 4 out of every 5 people that come in nowadays is looking to flip, so they really hone in on who to give these to. For instance, I hate the Daytona and my ADs know that. I've wanted one and never will. I've even turned down offers on one even in this current climate but I can also get a lot of things later on in the future.

That's because watch "collectors" these days are not what they use to be 10 years ago. The fallacy of thinking a watch is an investment and speculating is comical to me. People just need to shut down instagram and move on.
